Joan co-starred in the MGM release "The Road To Hong Kong" with Bob Hope in 1961, the following year Joan made a guest appearance on Bob's NBC show. This edition in B/W also featured Steve Allen.. Joanie Sommers... Steve Rose Orchestra and Jack Paar.. Joan first appears in a beaded gown to engage in a little banter with Bob, she then turns up in a sketch dressed as a Customs inspector as Bob is held up at the airport.. She then appears as a lady of the house, who gets a visit from two bumbling policemen played by Bob and Steve Allen. The sketch culminates in them all doing the twist, with Joan in a feathered skirt!  Joan appeared again on Bob's show in 1966, in a legendary leading lady special..  Appearing on the show were Lucille Ball.. Joan Fontaine.. Hedy Lamarr..  Dorothy Lamour.. Virginia Mayo.. Janis Paige.. Signe Hasso.. Arlene Dahl. Dina Merill ..Phyllis Diller ..Rhonda Fleming..and Vera Miles..  The scenario of the show see's Bob relate his dreams to his doctor and all his leading ladies appear!  Joan is included in a dream of Bob in a grocery store and after finding Virginia Mayo serving behind the counter and Janis Paige hiding in the back, he finds Joan hiding behind a magazine.. The sketch culminates in Joan, Janis and Virginia singing "Big Spender" with Bob..  This edition is in color...  Great to see so many legends of the screen in one show..Many of whom are no longer with us....
